Held in Houston (the "energy capital of the world") on May 20-23, 2019. This is the No. 1 yearly opportunity to meet renewable energy industry colleagues and make new friendships, in addition to staying up-to-date with industry trends, technology and innovations.
September 2018: SDC Forum#44, Salt Lake City, Utah
Forum of ACI Foundation's Strategic Development Council. Two days fully packed with presentations and discussions relative new and emerging concrete technologies.
March 2018: IFCE Expo 2018, Orlando, Florida
The International Foundations Congress and Equipment Expo is a major conference organized by multiple organizations (ASCE's Geo-Institute, ADSC, PDCA, DFI, etc) focusing on foundations and geotechnical engineering. Attended multiple technical sessions and guest lectures, as well as equipment expositions, over the course of 4 days (March 5-10, 2018) in Orlando, Florida.
June 2017: Geo-Risk Conference 2017, Denver, Colorado
Attended a one-day workshop on Bayesian Analysis and three-days of conference presentations and keynote lectures focused on geotechnical risk assessment and management.
April 2017: SEI Structures Congress 2017, Denver, Colorado
Structures Congress is the annual conference of the Structural Engineering Institute of ASCE and the premier event in structural engineering. When this major event comes to Denver, there is no excuse for missing it!
July 2016: NREL Mini-workshop on Uncertainty & Risk Assessment in the Design Process for Wind, Denver, Colorado
In this workshop, about 30 invited experts (including myself) presented on design processes in wind energy and addressed the greatest opportunities for uncertainty clarification and/or reduction.
February 2016: Geotechnical & Structural Engineering Congress 2016, Phoenix, Arizona
The ASCE structural and geotechnical engineering congresses were combined in the 2016 editions of these events to produce an exceptional event held on February 14-17, 2016 in Phoenix, Arizona.
