From http://www.seiwec.net: "Jomaa Ben-Hassine (JB) established and developed the WEC website www.seiwec.net and provided statistics on the website. Jomaa has done an outstanding job and the WEC has been congratulated for this site. TS invited all members to visit the site, where information of interest to the WEC will be posted. TS and all WEC members expressed their deep thanks to JB for his contributions."
I am placing my personal library of books on-line here. This helps me keep track of this information, and hopefully gives the visitor an idea on my interests.
July 29, 2005 - US Congress reached an agreement on the Transportation Equity Act: A Legacy for Users (TEA-LU). This bill will provide $286.5 billion over six years to maintain the US transportation infrastructure. While this is commendable, it falls short of ASCE's recommendation of $375 billion over the same period. ASCE's 2005 Report Card for America's Infrastructure, released on March 9, concluded that the condition of US bridges has remained the same at a grade of C, while roads and mass transit systems continued to decline (from a D+ to D for roads and C- to D+ for transit).
