Structures Congress 2010 in Austin was a blast - personally and professionally. I made a presentation on design of wind turbine foundations as part of a session sponsored by the ASCE Wind Energy Structures committee. I also got a chance to visit with RES offices in Austin and meet with friends and family in the Austin area. |

 WindPower 2007 held in Los Angeles, California, has been an exceptional event. With attendance nearing 7000, this is the largest event focused exclusively on wind energy. Besides the various presentation tracks, the exihibition provided an opportunity to learn about innovative products and services associated with wind energy. For many, the occasion was used to meet face-to-face with project team members and to discuss on-going and planned work. |

 The 2007 edition of the ASCE Structures Congress will be held in Long Beach, CA, May 16-19, 2007. This edition's theme is "New Horizons, Better Practices."
